Tour of Ephesus and Sirince with Lunch

Approx. 8 hours

This tour gives you chance to discover the Ancient City of Ephesus in all its glory and enjoy the rural life. Once you enter the Open Air Archeological Museum of Ephesus and pass by the Magnesia Gate, you’ll enter the administrative section of ancient Ephesus. After the visit to Ephesus, your bus will take you to Sirince a wonderful little Aegean village of 600 inhabitants, located in the Turkish hillside about 1000 feet above sea level. As you approach the village, the road passes through vineyards, orchards and olive groves, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the Tuscany of Turkey. A stop at famous wine houses for a tasting the homemade fruit wines is included. You will also visit the famous Orthodox Church of Sirince. After exploring the village of Sirince and lunch at a restaurant in the village your tour will take you to one of the carpet weaving villages close to Ephesus where you will be given an introduction about this dying work of art and a shopping opportunity before you depart for Izmir. * The duration of one way transportation to sites is approximately 1 hr 30 min.
